Christine Kirkman is a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (CPNP) who has been a registered nurse for more than 30 years. She specializes in pediatric primary care, birth to age 21. Christine received a Bachelors Degree in Nursing from Syracuse University College of Nursing (1981) and a Masters Degree in Nursing from SUNY Upstate Medical University College of Nursing (2014). She is certified as a PNP by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board. Christine previously held a position as a PNP in Pediatric Neurology SUNY Upstate Medical University. She served as a school nurse in both the Syracuse City School District and the East Syracuse Minoa School District. Christine has spent the majority of her career dedicated to children and their families. She is a strong advocate of health promotion and preventative care. Christine believes parents should be actively involved in healthcare choices for their children.
